About Us

Knots & Bolts is a small yarn and fabric shop located in Eastern Iowa.  It is owned by Suzanne, who has always wanted to own a quilt shop.  She gets a lot of help from her family. Her Mom is the resident knitting expert and sounding board for all sorts of creative stuff, her sister helps long distance with the website, and her husband and twin boys go beyond the call of duty every day with tasks and projects too numerous to mention.

Suzanne has had a longarm quilting machine business for 7 years, and has self-published several quilting design books.  She also teaches longarm quilting, and is having a lot of fun learning about the world of yarn and knittin.
